PROJECT GAIA
I, Katja Fred, want to give Gaia a new face. Just as the old Greeks anthropomorphise their gods so they could talk and pursue them. I want to give Gaia a face so I hope I can create empathy for the earth that we take for granted.
She is on her knees, begging us to wake up and see what she is giving us. Life. Life she created. The same Life she can take away at any moment.
This is a personal project where I am expanding my skillz. It contains an environmental message that I would like to spread with love. Therefore I choose to visualise this message with the beauty I have seen in nature.
All drawings are made with ink and dipping pen on paper.
